This modern, single-storey house with a three-tract functional layout was designed for a family of four who value spending time together. The central axis of the building runs from the entrance all the way to the living room, culminating in a fireplace – the heart of the home’s day zone.
The entrance is located under a large canopy that serves multiple purposes: it shelters the entryway, provides a roofed space for two parking spots, and also forms the base for a private rooftop terrace. This terrace belongs to the master suite – a private retreat for the parents, which includes a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, workspace, and direct access to the outdoor area.
The building’s form draws inspiration from the modern barn aesthetic – a minimalist silhouette with a gable roof free of eaves and clean, contemporary lines that emphasize the home’s modern character.
