Many Functions, Limited Plot

This house was designed to meet the needs of a five-person family seeking comfort on a relatively small plot. Despite space constraints, the project successfully integrates multiple functions, resulting in a comfortable, functional, and spacious home.

One of the key design goals was to separate the day and night zones, which was achieved through a clear division between floors. At the heart of the home lies a spacious living room with a fireplace, a relaxation area, a dining space, and access to a large terrace.

The kitchen – designed as a separate room per the investors’ request – also features direct access to the terrace. This way, during summer, the terrace serves as an outdoor dining area and a space for leisure.

The building’s form is simple and features a gable roof without eaves, visually reducing its scale and making the house appear smaller and lighter than it actually is – fitting gracefully into the compact plot. A bay window above the entrance provides shelter and adds a unique, personalized character to the building.
