A Complete Transformation

The project involved a comprehensive renovation of a house built in the 1970s, situated on a hillside, along with interior design and landscaping. The aim was to create a modern structure in the least invasive way possible – without the need for permits or official notifications.

Despite the challenging terrain, it was possible to create parking spaces for three cars and comfortable outdoor stairs. The terrace with a view of the mountain landscape was extended to serve as a relaxing space for the whole family. The surrounding greenery consists mainly of evergreen plants, which require minimal maintenance.

By replacing the roof with an eavesless version and using black standing seam metal and white plaster, the building gained a contemporary character. Inside, the functional layout was redesigned to better accommodate the needs of a person with disabilities. The kitchen was opened up to the living room, and the bathroom was moved to a larger space.

Original elements were successfully preserved, such as the ceiling paneling in the living room, wooden floors in the attic, and beautiful oak stairs, which were given a new life through renovation. The interior is filled with white, complemented by earth tones, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere thanks to the retained original features.
